About NEXO

NEXO designs lithium batteries around how vehicles actually use power — not around inflated specifications.

Different vehicles demand fundamentally different battery behavior. A motorcycle starter and a golf cart don’t fail in the same way, and they shouldn’t use the same battery design.

That’s why NEXO products are built around two distinct platforms: Core 7 and Core 20.

The NEXO Core System

Core 7 — High-Current Starter Platform

Core 7 is engineered specifically for powersports and engine-starting applications.

These batteries prioritize:

  • High peak current for reliable starts
  • Stable voltage under short, intense loads
  • Lightweight drop-in replacement for OEM lead-acid starter batteries

Core 7 products use LiFePO₄ chemistry and starter-grade battery management systems designed for high discharge events — not extended runtime.

If your vehicle needs to start an engine, Core 7 is the right tool for the job.

Core 20 — Energy & Runtime Platform

Core 20 is designed for vehicles and equipment that draw power over longer periods, such as:

  • Lawn and garden equipment
  • Golf carts
  • Utility and light mobility applications

These batteries prioritize:

  • Higher usable capacity
  • Long cycle life
  • Consistent output over extended discharge

Core 20 products are built for energy delivery, not engine cranking.

Why We Separate Starter and Energy Batteries

Many lithium batteries on the market attempt to serve both roles. In practice, this leads to compromises — reduced cold-start performance, shorter lifespan, or inconsistent behavior.

By separating starter-focused and energy-focused designs, NEXO avoids those compromises and publishes specifications you can trust.

Designed with Safety and Transparency

All NEXO batteries use:

  • Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) chemistry for thermal stability
  • Quality-controlled assembly and functional testing
  • Clearly defined operating limits and usage guidance

We focus on straightforward specifications and conservative design choices so customers know exactly what they’re buying.

Choose the Core, Then the Battery

Selecting a NEXO battery starts with choosing the right Core:

  • Starting an engine? → Core 7
  • Powering equipment or accessories? → Core 20

From there, selecting the correct battery is simple.
